Everyday Moms By Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino We are famous. We are not so famous. We are young. We are old. We are everyday moms. We have energy. We should take more time for ourselves here and there. We might have wrinkles appearing. We might have cake in our hair. We are everyday moms. We don’t have time. We do have time. Some days we do Some days we don’t. We are everyday moms. One year we might be healthy. The next year we may not be so healthy. We are tall. We are short a
Hi! My name is Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino. I have life-threatening food allergies called Anaphylaxis. I realized the other day that I'm a little caught up in just trying to avoid allergens myself, stay healthy and thriving. I've been in that mode a little bit as I noticed inflammation was creeping back into my life and I needed to control it better. I've been feeling better for a few months now. That's when another teenager died from food allergies. I believe the teen die
Find Yourself I’m learning to climb mountains, I am even learning to fly. It’s how much I mean to me, For when I am present, I can touch the sky. I’d actually walk, run, jog or hike, To keep meeting myself each day. For this, I am my dearest one, And my soul is here to stay. I find myself often in these times, where I pray for my soul to keep. Where moments have already passed, And the time is gone in a leap. I don’t know why I place myself in the distance sometimes, Because
Your well-being is key. Enduring the process of changing a behavior or several behaviors can sometimes feel like a grueling upward climb. Knowing that others have successfully made similar changes can make the climb a bit easier. Wellness is a choice we make either as a way of life, or it's sometimes forced upon us in the form of an illness or disease, problem, crisis or worse unless we learn and implement healthy practices. You can often make a small change in order to gai
How Can You Practice Abudance in 2016? It's that time of the year. Resolutions, resolutions and more resolutions. Last year we talked about Creating Your Best Life in 2015. For 2016, I'd like to chat with you about a focus on what I call "Practicing Abundance". Resolutions, and all that goes with, often involve lofty goal setting and/or emotional based wishing, which tends to focus on all that you don't have. Often we set resolutions that are so far out of our reach and ra
Yesterday we decided to take a few new pictures with some of the new Best Ever You mugs that are for sale. I was super excited and posted a few of the pictures in social media with the thinking and marketing behind it of selling mugs or fielding mug inquiries for stocking stuffers and so forth. Here is the picture... I anticipated around 2400 orders for mugs and instead got 1200 comments & emails about jugs. I mean a lot of emails. Even texts. "Would you marry me?" was one.
Have You Found Your Soulmate?
To find your soulmate in your time
You must go through your core...
Dig down deeply and feel your path
Exposing you more and more.
It is through your love and heart
Where soulmates are certainly found,
Cherished forever and ever
Always internal and sound.
A soulmate is never lost
But you have to grow to find -
Learning and unlearning
With both your body, soul and mind.
Searching for years and perhaps an eternity
Words cannot ev
The short answer is YES! One person can really change the world. How????( and I add question marks in quantity) might be a bigger topic :)
The topic of Peace is so enormous that many of us are probably left feeling like we need a PhD or two or three, spiritual guru status or perhaps even world leader status to even approach or tackle the topic. Well maybe, but perhaps, maybe not.
As I wrote the last chapter of my new book Percolate - Let Your Best Self Filter Through
Welcome to Ask Elizabeth!
This is the very first post. I’ve definitely gone back and forth over which question to answer first. There have been some doozies submitted! Thank you.
I think I’ll take a try answering what could be the most famous question of them all, “Do these jeans make my butt look fat?”
Now, as I answer this, keep in mind that, so far, nine people sent in this question. Yes. Nine. I put up the new section on the website, give a spot to submit a ques
