Welcome to my new blog, Life with the Zoom Lens On. Thank you for being here with me. We're still percolating and letting our best self filter through and being our best ever you, of course, but let's take it another step.My goal with this new blog is to help us make one thing, thought, idea, value, belief, etc…. the focus point.
What's your focus for today?
Let's focus about all the ways to be and all the ways we can be.
As we continue to navigate, let's focusing on our self-talk & chatter and our actual talk and chatter with others.
It's very easy under the easiest of circumstances even, to have an extremely negative conversation with yourself. One of the most frequent ones I hear from others in my consulting practice is, "I don't feel successful." Another one is "I'm overweight."
I feel and I am can be dangerous sentence starters if uncontrolled.
If you are here with me and doing this and negative thinking is where you go first, it's ok.
Go ahead and write that down. Write it all down. It's ok. But next, guess, what, grab a dictionary of antonyms and beside every negative word you wrote or though, write the opposite on a new coffee mug page or journal page. I've provided one you can download (mulitple times if you need to.)
Here are a some examples:
Low energy - High Energy
Unsuccessful - Successful
Heavy - Light
Unhappy - Fulfilled
Unloved - Loved
Scared - Safe
Negative - Positive
As you continue developing your positive words you brew, revisit them daily or many times in the day and consider even adding color to your words. Brighten them up to make them even more positive.

Grab a cup of your favorite coffee or tea, put your feet up or take a walk, and let your heart’s desire surface as we talk about all we can be. Let's brew positive energy.
Again, today we ask: How are you? Are you pushing through? Are you living in fear or anxiety? Are you stressed? Are you happy? Sad? How are you?
In your journal, draw your own cup of coffee or tea and think about what you are saying to yourself and others and what you are thinking.
What are you brewing?
If what surfaces is negative, low vibration chatter, really draw that cup of coffee or tea with the words intentionally positive. Think of 40 or 50 positive words even to outweigh the negative chatter. Consider copying this piece or creating a separate piece so you can hang it up on a mirror or your refrigerator as a reminder.
