Welcome to my blog, Life with the Zoom Lens On. Thank you for being here with me. We're still percolating and letting our best self filter through and being our best ever you, of course, but let's take it another step. My goal with this new blog is to help us make one thing, thought, idea, value, belief, etc…. the focus point.
What's your focus for today?
Let's focus on our mindset. Your mindset can be one of your biggest strengths and assets or largest hurdle and obstacle to get over or overcome. What you think about yourself often sets the tone and stage for everything. If you let the wrong people, even with the best of intentions, into your mindset, it can completely change your trajectory and well-being.
It's important to think for yourself and get to know the six principles of being your best so that you know who you are, what you think and do and can intake and evaluate not only new situations and adjustments to be made, but also what gets said to you.
You may fundamentally agree or disagree with your role, a decision that affects you, and more, but it is up to you to decide what sticks.
It is up to you if something doesn't go your way or they way you had planned, to adjust your mindset to stay positive and not be the victim or have a poor view of yourself.
Again, today we ask: How are you? Are you pushing through? Are you living in fear or anxiety? Are you stressed? Are you happy? Sad? How are you? In your journal, here are some concepts to write about or spark a conversation with another person.
(There are more questions that usual on this blog. Pick a few that you like the best to answer.)
So when your self-confidence and self-esteem are rocked to the core, by whatever it is, what do you do?
When something just isn't going your way, and you want it to, how do you adjust?
What is your passion and how hard are you willing to work to achieve your goals and dreams?
Who are the five to ten people closest to you and how do they affect your mindset and well-being?
Do you have a coach, life-coach, mentor, teacher or other role model as your overall person to go to when you need help?
When you don't want to do something, do you do it anyway because of peer pressure?
Do you do things just to get attention?
