The Best Ever You Show and host Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino welcome Mike Robbins. Mike Robbins is the author of five books, Focus on the Good Stuff, Be Yourself Everyone Else is Already Taken, Nothing Changes Until You Do, and, Bring Your Whole Self to Work, which have been translated into fifteen different languages. His fifth book, We're All in This Together: Creating a Team Culture of High Performance, Trust, and Belonging, came out in 2020. As an expert in teamwork, leadership, and emotional intelligence, Mike delivers keynotes and seminars (both in-person and virtually) that empower people, leaders, and teams to engage in their work, collaborate, and perform at their best. Through his speeches, seminars, consulting, and writing, Mike teaches important techniques that allow individuals and organizations to be more appreciative, authentic, and effective. He's a regular contributor to Forbes and the creator and host of the popular podcast, We're All In This Together. Prior to his speaking, writing, and consulting career, Mike was drafted by the New York Yankees out of high school. He turned the Yankees down and instead chose to play baseball at Stanford University, where he pitched in the College World Series. He was drafted by the Kansas City Royals out of Stanford and played three seasons of professional baseball in the Royals organization before arm injuries ended his playing career while still in the minor leagues. After his athletic career was cut short, Mike worked in sales and business development for two Internet start-ups. When the dot-com bubble burst in 2000, it allowed him to follow a deeper passion – empowering and inspiring people – and opened the door for him to start working full time as a speaker, author, and coach. In addition to earning a degree from Stanford in American Studies with a specialization in race and ethnicity, Mike has continued to educate himself. He has extensively studied many disciplines of both personal and professional development and received training from the Coaches Training Institute.

TLC. These are just a few of the places where you may have previously seen former professional model, Yolanda Stennett, Mrs. International 2021, who was also the first female in-stadium co-host for Major League Baseball's Washington Nationals. As the matriarch of her blended family, Yolanda is the devoted wife to her husband, Joevon and a proud mother and grandmother. Together, Yolanda and Joevon have three children and two grandchildren with another grandson expected in January 2022. Yolanda hails from a long line of military service men and women and is proud of her two oldest children who are continuing the legacy by actively serving in the U.S. Navy. "Mentoring: By Any Means Necessary" is a family affair in the Stennett family. Yolanda has served her community as a youth mentor for over twenty years and currently serves as the Program Director for Daughters With a Purpose mentoring program, a position in which she is responsible for creating programming that will serve both the mentees and mentors within the organization. Additionally, she serves on the executive board of directors with the Center for Abused Persons of Charles County, is an active CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate for Foster Youth), has been the varsity cheerleading coach at Westlake High School for the past ten years as well as is the Charles County Public Schools representative to the Maryland State High School Cheerleading Committee. Mrs. Stennett also holds TESOL and TEFL certifications for Teaching English as a Second Language and works part-time as an ESL teacher. Mr. Stennett serves the community mentoring young scholars and athletes as a high school teacher, coaches varsity cross country and baseball, hosts free youth baseball camps and clinics in addition to being the head coach for the 2021 9U Youth World Series Champion, J&T Cages from Southern Maryland. Keeping mentoring and coaching in the family are their older children who coach basketball and competitive cheerleading respectively and also serve as youth mentors in their communities. Yolanda is an advocate for STEM education, has earned six college degrees and has worked in the telecommunications construction industry since 1999. Mrs. Stennett currently is the Washington, DC / Baltimore market program director for a nationwide firm that provides engineering and construction services for the four major wireless carriers in the United States. As the only female program director for her market, it is extremely important to Yolanda to continue to educate and advocate for opportunities for women in STEM. Additionally, Mrs. Stennett is an entrepreneur within the fashion and beauty industry working for global brands Senegence and Savvi. As a firm believer that representation matters, Mrs. Stennett will use her year of service to continue to advocate on the importance of mentoring in effort to close the mentoring gap for young people, educate on cultural understanding and acceptance, and promote body positivity and self-acceptance. Yolanda has dedicated her life to awareness of these issues and in fact, she and her vision were the subject of a WE:Women’s Entertainment channel documentary in 2005 titled, “Chasing the Crown.” When asked how she gets it all done and stays healthy, she says “it all starts with your attitude!”
