Welcome to My Blog! It was time to change things up, so this is a new website for me! I'm glad you are here with me. My name is Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino. That is pronounced (GUH-Reno) or you can just call me Elizabeth. If that is too long, my friends and family call me Lisa.
I always feel a need to share my age. I'm 53 and will be 54 in September 2023. I think sharing your age with people gives a better perspective or glimpse into your life. My husband and I have been married for 25 years and have four sons. I love to post about my family in social media on Facebook and Instagram, so I hope you'll join me there.
We live in Maine most of the year. My husband and I left this year for the winter and headed to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I'm actually writing this from there.
I wanted to share a little bit about my books. I am an author of multiple books on the topic of change and success. My latest is called The Change Guidebook - How to Align You Heart, Truths, and Energy to Find Success in All Areas of Your Life. In late 2022, it won the International Book Award for Non-Fiction. I'm really proud of that!
There was considerable time between my first book PERCOLATE - Let Your Best Self Filter Through, which was published by Hay House in 2014, and this latest one. I really learned a lot about the publishing industry between the books. Also, my father, who was discussed in Percolate at length for being the ICU Warrior/Stroke Survivor, passed in October 2018.
While both books are about the topic of change, in The Change Guidebook, I really take readers and learners through the process of The Ten Points of Change, which is how I feel we manage and process change. The entire book is also a Masterclass in Change Management.

As a wife of over 25 years and mom of four sons, more than anything, I write about how to put these ideas into practice in daily life. My social media is also reflection of my work and family.
Most of the concepts I write about are my own that I have developed and then I layer stories and examples from my life or others. I also work closely with doctors, therapists and coaches of all kinds who use my work and books in their practices. My books are also used extensively by athletes and sports coaches. I believe we all learn, heal and grow when we understand the power of collaboration and the power of "Us and we" versus "I and Me".
I definitely consider myself a life-long learner and also happy and grateful to share what I’ve discovered so far.
